Thirteen years ago, I felt the call of the Andes beckoning me to deepen my shamanic journey with the Q’ero people.

When I finally journeyed to the Andes in 2011, I discovered that the most profound lesson was not found in the stories or teachings, but in the sheer presence of the Q’ero people. In their footsteps, I witnessed a prayerful dance with the earth, a graceful communion with the natural world. Their hearts radiated with unconditional love, and their smiles held the wisdom of ages.
In September 2024, I extend an invitation to a select group of 15 seekers to join me on a sacred pilgrimage into the heart of the Andes. Led by the esteemed Don Eduardo Chura Apaza, we'll journey through the sacred lands of the Andes, immersing ourselves in the transformative energy of this ancient tradition.

The package includes 9 days and 8 nights of guided spiritual journeying with Q’ero Shaman Don Eduardo Chura Apaza and Rami Abu-Sitta, accommodations in the Sacred Valley and Cusco, camping on holy mountain Ausangate, breakfast daily, all meals while on Ausangate, transportation within Peru, entry fees to sacred sites, and participation in Shamanic initiations and ceremonies.

We will visit Pisac, Moray, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu, Sacsayhuaman, Ausangate, Qoricancha, and Mamá Simona.

Single occupancy means you will have your own private room in the Sacred Valley and Cusco (excluding one night tent camping on Ausangate, which will be shared).
Double occupancy means you will share a room with another retreat guest, offering a more cost-effective option and an opportunity to connect with fellow participants. -
You will take part in a traditional Huachuma Medicine Ceremony, Despacho Ceremonies, Karpay Initiations, and Healing Rituals led by experienced Q’ero shamans at various sacred sites.

No prior experience is necessary. The pilgrimage is open to all levels, and our guides will provide support and instruction throughout the journey.

Pack comfortable clothing for hiking, layers for varying weather conditions, a good pair of walking shoes, personal toiletries, any necessary medications, and a journal. A detailed packing list will be provided upon registration.

Participants should be in good health and able to walk/hike for several hours at a time. The pilgrimage involves visiting high-altitude locations, so please consult with your doctor if you have any health concerns.

Meet Don Eduardo
Don Eduardo Chura Apaza was born in the Q’ero Village High in the Andes of Peru. He is the descendent of a great lineage of Earthkeepers, medicine men and women once thought to have vanished after the time of the Conquest.
After carefully guarding their knowledge for hundreds of years, in 1950, these high-shamans, Eduardo’s ancestors, came out of seclusion and began sharing their ancient wisdom-teachings, in order to help humanity endure the difficult changes they knew were coming, and give birth to a better world.
Don Eduardo is an heir, teacher, Shaman, and Paq’o with more than 20 years of expertise cultivating his practice of Andean ancestral medicine. He performs initiations, ceremonies and healings with the intention of spreading the sacred teachings of his father Don Francisco Chura Flores, known internationally as an Andean priest or great Paq’o (Pampamisayoq).
Policies & Travel Guidelines
Refund/Cancellation Policy
The $600 deposit is non-refundable. In the event of extraneous reasons leading to trip cancellation, you will be refunded minus the costs of fees and deposits paid to hotels or other vendors.
If you are unable to attend and let us know on or before June 6, 2024, you will receive a refund of any payments made outside of the initial $600 deposit which is non-refundable.
Booking Your International & Domestic Flights
International flights will need to fly in and out of Lima, Peru. From there, you'll want to take a direct Flight to Cusco. If you're not planning to arrive in Peru early to spend time before the retreat, what we recommend is arriving in Lima the day before our group journey begins.
